Then touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, search for Widgeling, swipe to pick a size and tap Add Widget. Finally, touch and hold the new widget, tap Edit Widget and choose your design.

How do I put Widgeling on my Apple Watch?

How do I add a Widgeling control?

Can I use Widgeling widgets on my Mac or Apple Vision Pro?

Yes. On a Mac, right-click the desktop, choose Edit Widgets, search for Widgeling and drag a widget onto the desktop or into Notification Center. On Apple Vision Pro, open the widget gallery, choose a Widgeling widget and place it on a wall or surface.

Is there step-by-step help in the app?

Yes. In Widgeling, open Settings, then Help, then Setup guides. There's an animated guide for each place a widget can go: the Home Screen, Lock Screen, StandBy, controls, Apple Watch, the Mac, Apple Vision Pro and CarPlay.

Widgets not looking right?

My widget shows the starter design. How do I change it?

Touch and hold the widget, tap Edit Widget and choose one of your designs. Widget Check, in Widgeling's Settings, lists every widget you've placed and flags any still showing the starter design.

Why isn't my widget updating?

iOS decides how often widgets refresh, based on how often you look at them. Open Widgeling and tap Refresh all widgets in Settings, and run Widget Check to find any permissions that are turned off.

A widget says it needs access. What do I do?

Some widgets need permission to read something on your device, such as your calendar, photos, location or Health data. Widget Check shows which widget needs what, with a button to allow it, or to open Settings if you said no before.

Why does my weather, finance or sports widget show sample data?

Weather, air quality, finance, sports and flight widgets need Widgeling Pro. Without it you can still preview every Pro template with sample data in the app. If Pro ends, those widgets pause and show Open the app to continue, and come back to life when you resubscribe.

Designs and sync

Where are my designs stored?

On your devices, synced through your own private iCloud database, which I can't see. Health data never syncs, and Widgeling has no servers that see your designs.

How do I get my designs on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account, keep iCloud on and install Widgeling. Your designs, themes, places and trackers come back on their own. You can turn iCloud sync on or off in Widgeling's Settings, under Sync and data.

Can I share or back up a design?

Yes. Export designs and themes from the editor or from Settings, under Sync and data, then import them on another device or send them to a friend. Imported files are checked and can't contain links to remote images.

How do I delete all my Widgeling data?

In Widgeling's Settings, under Sync and data, tap Delete all data. It removes every design, theme, place, tracker and photo set from that device and from iCloud, and placed widgets go back to their starter designs. It can't be undone.

Pro and purchases

What do I get with Widgeling Pro?

Live data for your widgets: Apple Weather forecasts, air quality and pollen, stock, crypto and currency prices, sports fixtures, results and league tables, and flight status, with push updates that keep them fresh, plus Live Activities for live scores and flights. Pro also hides the banner for The Racing Line. Everything else, including the full style system and unlimited designs, is free.

How much is Pro, and is there a free trial?

Pro is £0.99 a month or £9.99 a year in the UK, with local prices elsewhere. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, and you can try every Pro template with sample data before you subscribe.

Does Pro work on all my devices?

Yes. Subscribe once and Pro works on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro and Apple Watch signed in to the same Apple Account, and with up to five family members through Family Sharing.

What happens to my widgets if Pro ends?

Pro widgets pause and show Open the app to continue. Your designs stay exactly as they are, and come back to life when you resubscribe.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Settings in Widgeling and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you subscribed with.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In Widgeling, open Settings and tap Manage subscription. You can also cancel in iOS Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.

How do I redeem an offer code?

Open Settings in Widgeling and tap Redeem offer code, or redeem it in the App Store app.

Privacy

Does Widgeling upload my photos, calendar or Health data?

No. Calendars, reminders, contacts, photos and Health data are read on your device to draw your widgets, and Widgeling never uploads them. Health data doesn't even sync to your own iCloud. For weather, a place's coordinates go to Apple Weather, and for Pro air quality and pollen, your location rounded to about 1 km goes to Widgeling's data service.

Why does Widgeling show a banner for The Racing Line?

Free users see one small banner for The Racing Line, my motorsport app. It's built into Widgeling, not served by an ad network, so nothing tracks you and nothing about you is shared. Widgeling Pro hides it.
